The Ger Lyons-trained Genchev (10/3) was an all-out winner of the Hill of Allen Stud Handicap for jockey Colin Keane.

The three-year-old son of Without Parole was positive throughout and, when the challenge of Yousaynothingatall came, he extended and kept finding to gain victory by a short head.

Speaking after the race, trainer Ger Lyons said: "He won his maiden well in Navan on easy ground. I'd say the whole day in Ascot just got the better of him. He kind of boiled over and, it was really a non-event. We brought him home, freshened him up and, this was a nice next target. He's a horse that you can set alight from the stalls and then he shuts down and stays and, he's always only doing enough, hence the cheekpieces. He's turning into a likeable sort of horse."
