Goffs February Sale The Goffs February Sale has been shortened to a two day affair and takes place next week on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th February. The catalogue has a varied content with drafts of Flat and National Hunt yearlings and two-year-olds, fillies out of training, Flat and National Hunt breeding stock as well as two stallions. Last year's Irish Derby winner Frozen Fire was bought as a yearling at this sale in 2006, and sires with yearlings on offer this year include Acclamation, Dalakhani, Dubawi, Invincible Spirit, Motivator, Oasis Dream, Holy Roman Emperor and Oratorio. Among the National Hunt mares on offer are half-sisters to Grade 1 winners Iktitaf and Franchoek as well as a half-sister to Paddy Power Gold Cup winner Imperial Commander. Oscar, Old Vic, Flemensfirth and Vinnie Roe are just some of the National Hunt sires represented.
