The going has eased slightly ahead of this evening's meeting at Cork following some overnight rain.

There was 2mm of rain overnight at the Mallow venue and the ground is now good to yielding on both the round and sprint courses.

The forecast is overcast with the risk of showers throughout the day, and the seven-race flat card featuring the Group 3 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Give Thanks Stakes gets underway at 5.30pm.

Racing also takes place this evening at Roscommon (first race 5.40pm) where the ground remains good (good to yielding in places) on the hurdle and bumper track and good on the chase track.

The action switches to Sligo tomorrow and the going is sure to be testing for their flat fixture (National Hunt card on Thursday) following a further 5mm of rain overnight.

The north-western track is currently soft, heavy in places, with an unsettled weather forecast both for today and tomorrow.

Leopardstown race on Thursday and it's currently good ground (no overnight rain), while the Curragh hosts Group 1 action on Sunday and the going is good (8mm of rain since last Friday).
