Gra has Ascot target Moran Gra could be bound for Royal Ascot following a smooth success at Leopardstown on Sunday. The four-year-old chestnut defied odds of 20-1 to win a competitive handicap by a length and a quarter. It was Moran Gra's first victory since his juvenile days, during which he also finished fourth to Canford Cliffs in the Coventry Stakes at the Royal meeting. Ascot is again under consideration for the rejuvenated son of Rahy. Trainer Joanna Morgan said: "He's a good horse - it's easier training good horses. "He'd been working very well and we fancied him - the owners had a few quid on. "I might take him for a big handicap at Royal Ascot as the owners would be keen to travel. "He's a laid-back horse, but he doesn't like to be in the middle of the action as he needs daylight."
