Aintree Clerk of the Course Andrew Tulloch reports the going on the Grand National course to be Good to Soft, Good in places.

He said this morning: "It has been dry overnight. I have left the going as Good, Good to Soft in places on the Mildmay and Hurdle courses.

"The Grand National course is Good to Soft, Good in places. We watered around fences 13 and 14 overnight (fences in home straight).

"We will continue to water in order to maintain the going on the easy side of Good.

The weather forecast is for dry conditions all the way through to Saturday with bright sunshine and a high of 15 degrees on Grand National day.
