Great fare in store at Fairyhouse on Sunday There are ten horses in contention for the Grade 1 Powers Gold Cup at Fairyhouse on Sunday with current favourite Zaarito due to be partnered by Davy Condon. Ruby Walsh rides Sharkervilz for Willie Mullins with Tony McCoy on the stable-companion, Kempes. Number three in the betting lists is Roberto Goldback for Jessica Harrington and he will have the assistance of Robbie Power in the saddle. Jagoes Mills will have Davy Russell up, Let Yourself Go (a mover in the market) will be ridden by Barry Geraghty, whilst the outsiders according to the bookmakers are Deal Done (Paddy Flood), Coolcashin (Tom Doyle), Jadanli (Andrew Lynch) and Nicanor (Paul Carberry). Dessie Hughes said of Deal Done: "It is a step up in class but he was impressive the last day and he might be up to it. "I don't think the ground will worry him too much as it was pretty soft when he fell in Fairyhouse in February and he seemed to be handling it well. "I thought we had the winner (Becauseicouldntsee) covered that day and he went on to run well in the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham. "It will be a good race but it will be down to who handles the ground on the day as it's going to be dreadful." Adrian Maguire commented of Let Yourself Go: "It's a step up but he's entitled to do it on what we've seen from him so far. "He's won on heavy ground, I'm not saying that's what he wants but at least he's won on it and he seems in very good form. "He had a busy start to his season and after he finished fourth at Galway in October we decided to give him a break as we just felt that run wasn't him. "We freshened him up and he won well on his first run back at Thurles and you'd like to think he'll improve a bit for that. "He does seem to be at his best when fresh so we've given him a little bit of a break since the last day and we'll see how he gets on, but we're looking forward to it." Meanwhile the Grade 2 Rathbarry & Glenview Studs Novice Hurdle has seven declared. An intriguing heat has Loosen My Load (Andrew Lynch), Luska Lad (Davy Russell), Warne (Andrew McNamara), Blackstairmountain (Ruby Walsh), Mr Cracker (Barry Geraghty), Start Me Up (David Casey) and Brosna Val (Sonny Carey) set to do battle. Half-an-hour later in the Grade 3 Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Mares) Novice Hurdle, sixteen are due to line-up. The big names for this two and a half miler are Morning Supreme (Ruby Walsh), Premier Victory (Johnny Cullen) and For Bill (Davy Russell).
