Hadrian's gets off the mark

The David Wachman trained Hadrian’s Waltz, under Bill Lee, gained a winning bracket when scoring on her seventh start in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies & Mares Maiden at Wexford this evening.

The daughter of Holy Roman Emperor, which began the season from a rating of 85 which has now dropped to 75, moved to take over the lead under two furlongs out before staying on well inside the final furlong.

Wachman was absent but was represented by Ahmed Malik who stated “Hadiran’s Waltz will go handicapping now. She had been working fine at home recently and ran well on her last start here but disappointing twice since. Today’s ground suited her.”
