Halford pleased with Moritzburg Mick Halford believes Moritzburg will be seen to better effect going around a bend after he finished out of the money at Royal Ascot. The three-year-old colt could not defy his big odds in the Britannia Stakes as he came home in 11th place behind Bless Him. Halford was, however, far from dispirited with his Royal run. He said: "Moritzburg ran a good race in the Britannia. "He was up there on the stands side and he ran well for a long way. "I was pleased with him and he has come out of the race fine, but I think he'll be better on a turning track."
