Harrington happy with both her Guineas contenders Jessica Harrington is very pleased with how smart colts Hotazhell and Green Impact have done over the winter and she is mulling over a number of classic options for the pair. Hotazhell won four times as a juvenile on a variety of ground conditions and signed off the campaign with an ultra-tough performance to land the Group 1 William Hill Futurity Trophy Stakes at Doncaster. “We’re very happy with him and he’s got well up over 500 kilos now,” reports the Moone trainer. “He’s done all his slow work and has done two little bits of work with his lead horse and altogether I’m very happy with how he’s going forward. “He’s in the English, Irish and French 2000 Guineas and it will just depend on how he trains over the next four weeks.” Green Impact who twice at Leopardstown last year including the Group 2 KPMG Champions Juvenile Stakes and the son of Wootton Bassett also has a number of Guineas options. “Green Impact has done very well. He still has that big frame — he was very big and lanky last year. “He’s done the same amount of work as Hotazhell, they have never worked together. They each have their lead horse and do the same. “They are both going to come to the Curragh this week and we’re very happy with them.”
