Hay buys Blanco share Owner Fitri Hay has purchased a "significant interest" in Dubai World Cup hopeful Cape Blanco. The Aidan O'Brien-trained colt won the Irish Derby and the Irish Champion Stakes last season and is being prepared at Ballydoyle for the world's richest race. The four-year-old son of Galileo, who sported Derrick Smith's silks last term, will remain in training with O'Brien and will race in the colours of Hay. "We are delighted to be involved with such a talented horse and are very much looking forward to the season ahead," said Hay. Cape Blanco is currently third favourite with most bookmakers for the March 26 showpiece at Meydan.
