Chis Hayes is "raring to go" on Homeless Songs as the ground has come in her favour ahead of the Group 1 Coolmore America 'Justify' Matron Stakes on Irish Champions Weekend.

Dermot Weld's impressive Irish 1,000 Guineas winner has been on the sidelines since that devastating performance in May after a very dry spell, but the heavens have opened over Ireland which is music to Hayes' ears.

The jockey told Racing TV: "She is the standout on the first day but I have a nice book of rides on the Sunday (at the Curragh) as well - I have Romantic Proposal and hopefully Search For A Song, so I'm looking forward to it.

"The horses have been frustrating during the summer and it was frustrating times with Homeless Songs as we had to keep backing off, but we have no excuses now as the rain has come. She is mad well and we are raring to go (in Leopardstown tomorrow)."

Hayes completed the full set of victories at Irish racecourses that host Flat racing when winning on in-form Weld's Coeur D'or at Laytown yesterday.
