Hennessy's plan for Rubi Rubi Light may run in the Munster Hurdle at Clonmel on Thursday as Robbie Hennessy aims to get his stable star's season back on track. A Grade One winner in his pomp, Hennessy has entered the nine-year-old in the Crabbie's Grand National and a crack at the big race is on the cards should the ground be soft. He has undergone a breathing operation since his last run at Christmas. "I've put him in a hurdle race at Clonmel on Thursday so we'll have a look at that. He had a small wind op last month so he's missed work," said Hennessy. "The last day he ran at Leopardstown (Paddy Power Dial-A-Bet Chase) he burst and we put it down to problems with his palate. He's working grand but if he bursts again, he'll be let off for the rest of the season. "It all depends on how he gets on in his next race." Assessing the National, Hennessy said: "Looking at other Irish entries, I'd say his National weight is fair enough. I would have been surprised if he'd got any more. "If the ground came up any way soft at Aintree, then he'd be the right job around there."
