Hennessy sees Sizing as danger

Robbie Hennessy has singled out Sizing Europe as the biggest danger to his runner Sublimity in Sunday's Toshiba Hurdle at Leopardstown.

Hennessy's charge is 11/4 favourite with Paddy Power for the Grade One feature and the trainer sees Henry de Bromhead's charge as the threat to the market leader.

"It's hard to say who I fear most, but if Sizing Europe is back to himself, he could be the one as we saw what he did last year," Hennessy said.

"If it's heavy, Brave Inca is a slogger and he'll keep slogging away. At the end of the day, I think that it's very generous that he's about 3-1 to win on Sunday as it's something similar to the December Hurdle with similar runners and a similar field, but if they've got Sizing Europe back right, he'd probably sort of have to be the one that I'm worried about."

Hennessy is hoping the ground isn't too testing in Sunday's feature race.

"Sublimity is in great form and I couldn't be happier with him. We gave him a spin on Saturday morning alongside Donegal and he worked very well.

"If I could pick the ground on Sunday, I'd like it good, but we're not going to get that. He goes on soft and he's won on it so there is no problem there.

"However, I wouldn't want him to have a very hard race on heavy ground and it turn into a slog with the Smurfit Kappa Champion Hurdle only six weeks away.

"On good ground, he travels so well and it wouldn't take so much out of him. Earlier on in the season, I wouldn't have minded heavy ground and he's won on it and at Wetherby last month, he was just pipped in tacky ground.

"If it was heavy, I'd say that we would probably leave a decision until the last minute and have a chat. But I don't think that it will be heavy as Leopardstown is a good-draining track and the forecast is not as bad as it could be."
