Hill goes on trial at Kempton Josses Hill bids to further his claims for top honours at the Cheltenham Festival next month when he lines-up for the Racing UK 1 Price 3 Devices Graduation Chase at Kempton on Friday. The Nicky Henderson-trained seven-year-old is around a 7-1 chance for the Racing Post Arkle Trophy after opening his account over fences at the second attempt at Doncaster four weeks ago. He also holds an entry in the JLT Novices' Chase at jump racing's biggest meeting. Josses Hill takes on just three rivals - Colin Tizzard's Third Intention, the Paul Nicholls-trained Ceasar Milan and Robin Dickin's Thomas Crapper - and Henderson's stable jockey Barry Geraghty feels it is a good opportunity for the Festival hopeful. "I'm looking forward to him. He's done a good bit of schooling since Doncaster and I believe Nicky's very happy with him," said Geraghty. "It's a good race for him, nice ground. There's good opposition and it will be a good, competitive race. He should learn a bit." Geraghty gets the leg up on another promising Henderson runner in West Wizard in the New Racing UK iPad App Novices' Hurdle. The six-year-old, owned by Ffos Las founder Dai Walters, was runner-up to Arzal on this course in November after a year's layoff. "He ran a nice race last time. I rode him work a few weeks ago and he felt grand, so hopefully he's coming back to form," he said. West Wizard's opponents in a field of 13 include several inexperienced horses such as Jonjo O'Neill's Minella Rocco and Rock On Oscar from Paul Nicholls' stable.
