Hip scratched from Albert Bartlett Shot From The Hip is one of the more notable absentees from the Cheltenham Festival today at the latest entry stage, with his trainer Edward O’Grady taking the gelding out of the Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle. O’Grady has also scratched The Real Article from the Supreme Novices Hurdle, Ruler Of All from the Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle and the Neptune Novices Hurdle, Torphicen from the Jewsons’ Novices Chase and the Arkle Chase, and Roccos Hall from the National Hunt Chase. Another notable Irish absentee from a race at Prestury Park is Berties Dream, who has been scratched from the RSA Chase. Last season Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle winner does still hold an entry in the Ladbrokes World Hurdle.
