This is the fourth year of the fantastic fundraiser organised by trainer Jim Bolger and jockey Davy Russell in aid of Cancer Research.

The event has so far raised €300,000 for the worthy cause. Organiser Jim Bolger, is passionate about the cancer cause and believes that "research will play a major role in the successful treatment of cancer sufferers in the coming years."

The participants this evening will be a mix of Horse Racing and Hurling stars including Kilkenny Hurling Manager Brian Cody, Mark Landers, T.J. Ryan, Pat Fox, Dave Bernie, Damien Fitzhenry, Charlie Carter, James Dowling, Wexford all Ireland winning manager Liam Griffin, Derby winning Jockeys Kevin Manning and Michael Kinane, Colm O'Rourke, Ronnie Delaney, top female jockey Katie Walsh, soccer legend Niall Quinn, hurling legends D.J. Iconic broadcaster Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh will be the day's craoltoir. Anthony Kearns will sing Amhrán na bhFiann.

Half-time at this year's event will see an exciting twist when two of hurling's best goalies will go head to head in a tense penalty shoot-out. Wexford's Damien Fitzhenry will be representing Davy Russell's team and Clare's Davy Fitzgerald will be playing for Jim Bolger's stars.
