Hurricane Fly Plan Hurricane Fly is set to stay in novice company for his next start. Connections had been considering a tilt at the Toshiba Hurdle at Leopardstown with their rising star but he seems set to avoid a clash with the likes of Sublimity and Brave Inca. "He'll probably go to Leopardstown on February 8th for the Deloitte & Touche Novices' Hurdle. It's a Grade One race and Cousin Vinny and Mikael D'haguenet are also entered in it," trainer Willie Mullins told sportinglife.com. Mullins admits to being excited by the five-year-old who is Sky Bet's 5/1 favourite for the Supreme Novices' Hurdle. "He's very exciting. He's won two Grade Ones with us here and before that in France won their equivalent of the Triumph Hurdle. The horse he beat there, Grivette, had won two top-class races beforehand so it is top-class form. "He's very well at the moment. Paul, who rides him at home all the time, said he was in great form on Tuesday morning."
