IRISH CHALLENGE FOR FIRST NATIONAL AT ASCOT There is a strong Irish-trained challenge for the First National Bank Gold Cup at Ascot on Saturday, with five of the 15 declared from this country at today`s five day entry stage.Noel Meade has entered both Oa Baldixe and Royal Jake, while Christy Roche is also doubly represented with Risk Accessor and Brigade Charge. The Arthur Moore-trained Ellenjay is also among the entries.This race has attracted top class horses in the past with Best Mate narrowly beaten last year by Wahiba Sands.
