IRISH HOLD ON TO WIN AT MOONEE VALLEY Although they failed to trouble the judge in the final race of the series, the Irish jump jockeys team just held on to win the annual match against their Australian counterparts at Moonee Valley this morning.The visitors finished seventh, eighth and ninth behind two non-scoring outsiders in the A$55,000 Waterford Crystal Chase and picked up six points, just enough to see them recapture the Challenge Cup by 85 points to 83.
