ITM to advertise pointers for sale Irish Thoroughbred Marketing (ITM) today announced that they are to publish a directory of Irish point-to-point horses for sale prior to the start of the rescheduled 2001 point-to-point season. The disruption of the point-to-point season because of foot-and-mouth denied many owners the chance to run their horses and therefore alot of young horses which would normally have been sold on after point-to-pointing remain with their owners.Owners can obtain forms directly from ITM and they will also be published in the racing press this weekend. The season resumes on September 29th.Irish point-to-pointing is a major source of top-class national hunt talent and such recent stars as Looks Like Trouble, One Man, The Thinker and Davids Lad started their career `between the flags`.
