The Gavin Cromwell-trained If You Believe (11/4) was an impressive winner of the Connolly's Red Mills Irish EBF Auction and Median Maiden Hurdle for rider Keith Donoghue. The five-year-old son of Success Days was last seen on 6th November 2025 in Clonmel, when finishing fourth behind Scope To Improve.

The Bosses Order led throughout and set a good tempo in the early stages but the pack quickly caught the leader down the backstraight and rider Keith Donoghue always looked extremely comfortable behind the leaders and allowed his mount to take the lead before going into the home straight. He faced a challenge from Daniel King and Coolishael , but with a good jump at the last, he galloped on well to secure victory by nine lengths.

Speaking after the race trainer Cromwell said "he is a fine horse but we won't see the best of him until he jumps a fence, and he also wants to go up in trip. For a horse who had won a point-to-point and had two racecourse runs, he is still very babyish and has loads to learn.

"There is plenty of improvement in him and is a nice horse to look forward to.

"Owen (Daley) has five horses with us, has spent a lot of money on horses so hopefully he will reap the rewards this winter."
