In Salutem goes for big pot Ken Condon is hoping for another big show from In Salutem at the Curragh when he bids for a big pot in the 150,000 euro Bold Lad Handicap on Irish Champions Weekend. The gelding has won and been placed twice at the track already this year and is on course to take his chance in the six-furlong contest on September 13. The five-year-old is currently 30th on the list of entries so is guaranteed a run in the valuable contest. "We'll probably be represented by In Salutem in the six-furlong handicap," said Condon. "He's won at the Curragh previously and was a good third in a valuable contest in July. Hopefully he gets a reasonable draw and he would appreciate an ease in the ground. "He's pretty exposed and straightforward."
