Injured jockeys fundraiser auction raises 100k The fundraiser lunch and auction at Limerick Racecourse today raised approximately 100,000 euro for both the Robbie McNamara Trust and the Irish Injured Jockeys Fund. The leading auction item was a K Club four-ball with Tony McCoy and John Francome which sold for 10,000 euro. The leading stallion nomination, for any Coolmore National Hunt stallion, also sold for 10,000 euro while a trip to Ballydoyle trainer Aidan O'Brien's yard went for 4,500 euro.
