Injured jockeys update Jockeys Niall Madden and Nicky O’Shea are set for lengthy spells on the sideline following falls received at Naas on Sunday. Madden received bruising to the front of his brain, after his fall from Bella Mana Mou, and is expected to be discharged from Naas General Hospital later today. He could be out of action for six weeks. O’Shea, on the other hand, received his fall from Don’t Tell The Purty and faces three months on the sidelines having fractured his C6 vertebrae in his neck. He will have a halo fitted later today and is expected to be discharged from the Mater Hospital in the next few days. Thomas Weekes
