Injuries update Ryan Treacy remains in hospital after suffering collarbone and hip injuries in a heavy fall in the Galway Plate on Wednesday. Treacy was partnering Foildubh in the Ballybrit feature when he came to grief at the second fence, with John Ryan's inmate fatally injured in the fall. Irish Turf Club chief medical officer Dr Adrian McGoldrick said: "He's dislocated his left clavicle joint - the collarbone has come right off the shoulder, so that needs to be fixed. "He is also having a CT on his right hip as he has some ongoing hip pain." Treacy was one of five jockeys who failed to complete in an incident-packed race, with Danny Mullins also taken to hospital after a nasty spill at the first fence. "I'm just looking at Danny's CT scan report and he what is known as a transverse process fracture of his L2 vertebrae, so I'm standing him down for the week," said McGoldrick. Kevin Sexton, meanwhile, suffered a suspected fractured right hand earlier in the afternoon. "Kevin Sexton has his hand in plaster," said McGoldrick. "Sometimes these fracturescan take a couple of weeks to show up, so he's in plaster and will probably have an MRI scan next week to see if there's any ligament damage."
