Jim Bolger's highly promising juvenile Round Two is facing a spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury.

The son of Teofilo impressed in his opening two starts earlier this season when scoring in the Godolphin blue colours at Naas and in the Listed Marble Hill Stakes at the Curragh.

However he could only manage seventh behind Buratino when a strong favourite for the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot.

"Round Two has picked up an injury and will not be running for a while. He was very dull after Ascot for about three weeks, and he got injured after that," said the Coolcullen trainer.

He added, "We will see how he is next month before deciding if he will run again this season."

Bolger holds the colt in the highest regard, and said after his Marble Hill success, "He's everything you would like in a racehorse. If you wouldn't get excited by him, you just wouldn't be alive!"
