Trainer Gavin Cromwell has indicated that Gold Cup winner Inothewayurthinkin could make his first start of the new season at Punchestown next month.

Although nothing has been set in stone as yet, the seven-year-old is likely to follow something along the same lines as that which brought him Cheltenham success last term.

Cromwell said: "I haven't spoken to J.P. (McManus, owner) or Frank (Berry, racing manager) or anybody from that team yet about Inothewayurthinkin but I suppose going a similar route to last year is on my mind.

"I think he could be even a little more forward than this time last year and while it is all about Cheltenhnam, he is a year older now and has more experience, so will be more competitive earlier through the year.

"The John Durkan would be a good starting point again."

Meanwhile, he also had an update on another stable star: "Flooring Porter is still doing a rehab programme and is only on the walker at the moment but we are very happy with him. He's not back in my yard yet and I'm not exactly sure when he is starting back, but hopefully it won't be too far off.

"His injury was to a hind tendon, which is very unusual, and it will either be a spring campaign for him or, if its not working out, he won't reappear."
