Last Instalment is set to have a second comeback run next month following his fine return to competitive action at Thurles on Thursday.

The nine-year-old shaped with great promise on his first start for nearly two years when a close third to Texas Jack in the Kinloch Brae Chase.

Trainer Philip Fenton is now looking to back up that encouraging display in either the Hennessy Gold Cup at Leopardstown on February 9 or the Red Mills Chase at Gowran on February 15.

"Last Instalment is in good shape and came out of Thursday's Thurles race well," said the County Tipperary handler.

"The Red Mills Chase or the Hennessy are possible targets for him next."
