Irish Interest At Ayr And Southwell If you didn't get your fix of Irish racing over the last week you must wait until Friday for more action on home soil when All-Weather action takes place at Dundalk. This afternoon there are three race meetings in Britain and we have Irish interest with eight locally trained horses traveling over to contest races at Ayr and Southwell. With respect to connections the six Irish trained runners at Ayr look to have little chance of success in their races however John Feane sends two runner to Southwell with live chances. Not A Bad Oul Day runs in the first division of the Betway Handicap at 12.40 and the five year old would have claims on his penultimate run at Gowran Park in October. On that occasion he finished runner-up in a big field to course specialist Enough Is Enough. Not A Bad Oul Day won back-to-back races in April/May 2015 and could be about to strike again. Feane's other runner, Vivat Rex, is a previous course and distance winner at Southwell from before he joined the Curragh based trainer. His sole success under Feane came in a Charity Race at the Curragh back in July but it was certainly a performance of note since he beat the useful Rock The World into second. Vivat Rex runs in a Claiming Race at 2.40pm this afternoon.
