Irish Rumour scores for Tynan and Lynch Orla Tynan registered an 11th annual success today on Irish Rumour (4/1) in Navan’s Final Fence Marquee Hospitality Package 14th & 15th November Handicap, as the 7lb claimer steered the Jenny Lynch-trained, Jerry Fennell-owned mare to a third win. Racing behind the leaders, Tynan moved Irish Rumour to lead over a furlong out, before beating Gerrit’s Gem by a half-length. Trainer Lynch led-up the winner, and afterwards Orla Tynan, who is based with trainer Andy Slattery, said "Irish Rumour is just such a gamey filly and always tries her best. She always picks up whenever you ask her and she'll find that bit more. "She was always travelling easy for me, and I was comfortable going along. I had a lead and when I asked her to pick up, she just took off. She's after improving a bit there and it (higher mark) didn't bother her there. She's a lovely horse." Quotes from Michael Graham
