Four Irish-trained runners are due to line up on Sedgefield's card today.

Stuart Crawford's Barranco contests the opening novices' hurdle with Daryl Jacob on board. The Shirocco gelding won a Hexham bumper last summer.

Downpatrick trainer Patrick Turley sends Mrs Paisley across for the extended 2m3f maiden hurdle. She was last seen filling the runner-up berth in a mares' maiden hurdle at Clonmel in April.

Turley also takes the wraps off Shantou gelding Perzzini in the concluding bumper.

Another northern trainer, James Jenkins, has a runner in this race with Iltone who fell in his sole point-to-point when with Graham McKeever. He has been backed from 50/1 to 14/1.
