James recovering well after Limerick spill Sam James is set for a short spell on the sidelines after suffering a minor concussion in a fall at Limerick on Friday night. James was partnering Silldora in the Ballyduane Stud Handicap when his mount fell just over a furlong out. His agent Kevin O'Ryan said: "He was kept in hospital overnight but it's just a minor concussion and nothing is broken. "He shouldn't be out for too long but obviously he will have to see Dr Adrian McGoldrick (Irish Turf Club senior medical officer) before he comes back."
