Jim Bolger waiting on Pleascach plans Jim Bolger will now await future plans for Pleascach after he revealed the filly will not run again this year after missing the Prix de l'Opera. The Coolcullen trainer is waiting to hear from Godolphin whether the Irish 1,000 Guineas and Yorkshire Oaks winner will be retired to the paddocks or stay in training in 2016. Pleascach was forced out of Longchamp due to a muscle problem, which also prevented Bolger from having her at peak fitness for the Qipco British Champions Fillies & Mares Stakes at Ascot on Saturday. "It think it was on the eve of Paris that she took a lame step and it turned out to be a muscle tweak behind," Bolger told At The Races. "She came right after four or five days, but it would not have been possible to get her ready for Ascot, so she's finished now for the year. "A decision has to be taken on whether she stays in training or not. I'll probably be asked my opinion. Obviously I'd be delighted if she stayed in training, but if she has to go to stud, she has to go to stud. "I'd be very happy to train her next year. I'd nearly give a guarantee that she'll win a Group One or two next year."
