Joe Blake Ruled Out Of Foxhunters Trainer Ian Ferguson has announced that Joe Blake, one of the leading Irish contenders for the Christie's Foxhunter Chase at the Cheltenham, and fourth in the Festival contest last year will not take part this year.The eight-year-old finished third on his seasonal debut at Leopardstown in February but then missed an intended engagement at Fairyhouse because Ferguson felt he was not right. As a result, he was to be re-routed to the hunter chase at Downpatrick on Wednesday but this plan, too, has had to be abandoned. Ferguson said: 'The horse is just not right and there is no point in sending him to Cheltenham. I am bitterly disappointed for the big hunter chase there was always the plan for him. To be honest I don`t know where he goes now.'
