Judge pleases in Newmarket spin Ante-post 1000 Guineas favourite Just The Judge delighted connections in a piece of work before racing at Newmarket. The unbeaten daughter of Lawman went seven furlongs of the Rowley Mile under Jamie Spencer, in company with stablemate Society Pearl (Michael Hills). Just The Judge cruised alongside two furlongs out and finished comfortably clear, appearing to do things very easily. Trainer Charlie Hills said: "Just what the doctor ordered, Jamie was very happy with that and it was really to get the fizz out of her more than anything. She is very clean-winded, so it wasn't for fitness, it was more mental. "Hopefully that will put her right for the Guineas." The last of three juvenile outings for Just The Judge saw her land the Group Two Rockfel Stakes at Newmarket in October.
