Jury looking for Sandown compensation Judge 'n Jury could turn out again at Sandown on Saturday after a fine first effort in Pattern company. Ron Harris's admirable eight-year-old was collared in the final strides by Definightly and beaten half a length in the Sapphire Stakes at the Curragh on Saturday. Provided he shows the right signs, he will go for the Group Three Coral Charge over the minimum trip at the Esher track on Coral Eclipse day. However, his stablemate Secret Witness, who was fourth in the Curragh event, is to wait for conditions to dry out before he returns to the track. "Both horses are OK, no problems at all, they ate up this morning. They are as tough as nails and cool as cucumbers," said the Chepstow trainer. "Judge 'n Jury has got an entry at Sandown on Saturday in the Group Three race there. "Subject to him coming out and carrying on as he is at the moment, he'll go there. "Secret Witness will wait for better ground. That is the key. Luke (Morris) said he felt very good going to the start. "He was very pleased with him, he travelled nicely, but just couldn't quicken off that ground while Judge 'n Jury absolutely loved it."
