Leading Amateur Katie Walsh has been snapped up to ride the prolific Conas Taoi at Sandown on Friday in the valuable Coldunell Amateur Handicap Chase.

Conas Taoi has won four of his last five starts and probably would have also won when unseating his rider on the other.

The six-year-old son of Exit To Nowhere took eight starts to win his Point-to-Point when in the care of the Slevins but that experience has stood him in good stead in recent months and he races off a career high mark of 106 tomorrow.

Walsh's sister-in-law Nina Carberry will also be in action at Sandown on Saturday when she partners Somersby in the Grade 1 Betfair Tingle Creek.
