Keane doubles-up on Noli Timere After his win on Bonus Time in the opener, Noli Timere completed a double for Colin Keane in the LubriSyn HA Premium Equine Joint Protection Fillies Maiden. Well-supported from 5s into 11/4 favouritism, the Michael O'Callaghan-trained chestnut soon tracked the leaders and while briefly short of room early in the straight, she got the desired gap from the two-furlong pole. In first time cheekpieces, the Eleanora Kennedy-owned market leader was ridden to the front with a furlong to go and she kept on well from there to score by three-lengths. Bidding to complete a quick cross-card double for Andy Slattery, Therewillbeglory (6/1) came through to take second, while Maarisha (66/1) was half-a-length back in third. "She's a lovely filly and has taken a bit of time but is one we have always liked," O'Callaghan reflected. “We put cheek pieces on today more to sharpen her up dropping back from a mile and one. “Colin said a mile is her trip and she’ll improve for slower ground. That is as quick as she wants it and we’ll probably go hunting for a little bit of black type.” STEWARDS REPORT * A.J. Slattery, rider of Therewillbeglory, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around off the bridle. Additional reporting by Alan Magee
