Keltos stakes claim at Newbury French raider Keltos foiled hot favourite Noverre in a dramatic finish to the Juddmonte Lockinge Stakes at Newbury this afternoon.The five-year-old, trained by Carlos Laffon-Parais, ran out an easy winner from Godolphin`s four-year-old, ridden by Jamie Spencer.However, a stewards` inquiry was called after the Group One contest because of possible interference involving the first four.Once he got through a furlong out, Keltos stormed home to win by three and a half lengths from Noverre, the 5-6 favourite. Olden Times (8-1) was third just ahead of No Excuse Needed.
