Kendor Dine heads betting for Pierse Hurdle Kendor Dine is William Hill's new 7-1 favourite for the prestigious Pierse Hurdle at Leopardstown this Sunday. The classy five-year-old is one of thirty-nine horses that have been declared for ?130,000 Pierse handicap hurdle, although the maximum number of runners that will line up for the Leopradstown feature is thirty. When Hills' opened betting on the race, Eoin Griffin's charge could have been backed at 20-1, but following a nationwide gamble on the gelding, the recent Leopardstown winner is now as low as 7-1 for this Sundays two-mile contest. Arthur Moore's Lenrey, who won the Ladbroke Hurdle at Fairyhouse in December is the 8-1 second favourite, while Willie Mullins' five-year-old Quatre Heures is next best on 9-1. Noel Meade has left four in the race including his well backed novice Aitmatov, while Willie Mullins has also entered four in the race including the top weight (12st) Adamant Approach.
