Kilbeggan races next Monday evening Kilbeggan hosts its fourth meeting of the year on Monday June 21, with the first of seven races commencing at 6.00pm. The feature race is the Bank Of Ireland Handicap Hurdle of €22,000 over 2 miles 3 furlongs, while other sponsored races include the J.A.Shaw & Co, Solicitors Beginners Chase and the T & V Novice Hurdle of €13,000 generously supported by the Mullingar & North Westmeath Vintners Association & Tara Bottlers.Punters are beginning to watch out for potential Galway winners and, following an attendance of 6,000 at the last meeting here, another large crowd is expected at the ever popular midlands venue.
