Kilgame makes all for birthday boy O'Keeffe Kilgame (16/5) made all to win the Mongey Communications Maiden Hurdle at Navan for Henry de Bromhread and Darragh O'Keeffe (26 today). By Kargese's sire Jeu St Eloi, the six-year-old edged clear of Begorra Man after the second-last and was ridden out to beat that rival by two and three-quarter lengths. The winner, bought for 300,000 euro a couple of years ago after finishing second on his sole start for Gabriel Leenders at Auteuil, was getting off the mark on his fifth start over flights.  Winning owners Robcour were represented by Robbie Power who said "He's a fine, big horse and is going to make a lovely chaser next season.  "He was entitled to win, he deserved to win his maiden hurdle. He had good form in France and he had a good run in Leopardstown at Christmas.  "Stepping up in trip the last day probably wasn't ideal on heavy ground. Back over two miles today on that ground, and he will improve for better ground as well.  "He's a lovely, big, tough horse and an honest horse. His jumping is his forte.  "He is one to really look forward to when he goes jumping a fence.  "Fairyhouse might come a bit too soon after that, but we'll have a look and see what options there are for him. Maybe one run in a winners' hurdle or something like that, or see what the handicapper thinks.  "We'll have one more run over hurdles and maybe chasing after that. You see the way he jumps hurdles there today, so you'd be excited about him going chasing."  "Great to get that out of the way." Additional reporting by Michael Graham
