Kylecrue aims for more success at Cork Kylecrue looks to continue his excellent run of form in the JP McManus Rated Hurdle at Cork on Sunday. The eight-year-old has already struck gold at Tipperary, Ballinrobe and Sligo this summer and although he is wrong at the weights with some talented opponents this weekend, trainer John Ryan is hopeful of another bold show. "He's in good form and has won three out of his last four," said Ryan. "The day he got beat was over three miles and he's definitely more of a two-and-a-half-mile horse. "He could do with more cut in the ground than they've got at Cork at the moment, that would be the worry. "He goes there with a good each-way chance." The highest rated horse in the six-strong field is the Willie Mullins-trained Daneking, but he has failed to get his head in front since April of last year. An interesting line-up of four runners go to post for the Online Ticket Sales At corkracecourse.ie Hurdle, with Ryan represented by Jesmond Lodge. Aidan O'Brien saddles impressive Galway Festival winner Tigris River, who carries the colours of McManus in the hands of Barry Geraghty, while Moonmeister bids to get back on the winning trail for Gordon Elliott after pulling up at Ballybrit. The Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle is a competitive heat, with Dollar And A Dream sure to be popular for Tony Martin after a comfortable Galway victory. James Nash-trained Tramore winner My Manekineko and the consistent Golden Ticket from Christy Roche's stable are others to consider in a wide-open contest.
