Lane to miss remainder of NH season Adrian Lane is making slow progress from injuries sustained in a fall at Naas a fortnight ago, and is likely to be on the sidelines for three months.The highly promising claimer punctured a lung as well as injuring his shoulder and hip in a fall from Treasured Guest.The 22-year-old Galway rider had a pin and two screws put in his shoulder at Tallaght Hospital during the week, and will also have to wear a hip brace for six weeks.Paul Carberry will take over from Lane aboard the Mick Halford-trained Golden Cross in the Champion Hurdle.
