James Bethell said: 'He's been late maturing and has grown a lot. I was very pleased with his first run and I do think he is a nice horse but I don't know how good that race was. Having said that he had started to work quite nicely and I was fairly confident he'd run respectably. He's got quite a lot of improvement and Tony Culhane who rode him said we could go to a mile but as he'd be sharper next time then seven would be alright. I'd like to win an auction plate with him this year and I'm looking at Newcastle on September 29.'
