Lawlor making good progress Francis Lawlor who was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast with serious head injuries following a fall at Down Royal yesterday evening is making good progress. "They originally thought he had broken his jaw but he hasn't, he does have some facial injuries and bruising to his liver." "He is still very groggy but he is in good shape." "He will be in hospital for a further three or four days but there is no brain damage." McGoldrick added: "We have a real miracle on our hands." The 19-year-old claimer from Ballitore in Kildare suffered a heavy fall when Hammer It Home crashed out at the third last in the Data Select Handicap Hurdle.
