Grand National-winning jockey Graham Lee has his first ride since becoming a fully-fledged Flat jockey at Thirsk on Saturday.

Lee landed the world's most famous steeplechase in 2004 on the Ginger McCain-trained Amberleigh House, and rode five Cheltenham Festival winners, including a treble in 2005 on Inglis Drever, No Refuge and Arcalis.

He has been sidelined by injury since suffering a fall over fences at Southwell on February 15 and announced late last month that he would be switching codes.

He returns to the saddle in North Yorkshire on the Dianne Sayer-trained Hot Rod Mamma in the Market Cross Jewellers Handicap.
