Leopardstown watering chase course

Selective watering is taking place on the chase course at Leopardstown ahead of their Christmas festival.

Following 10mm of rain over the weekend it is soft, yielding to soft in places on the hurdle track and yielding, good to yielding in places on the chase course.

Showers are forecast for today and tomorrow but it is set to be mainly dry thereafter.

Punchestown and Tramore Updates

The ground at Punchestown is heavy ahead of their New Year's Eve meeting. The forecast is mainly dry and cold.

Racing will be on the inside hurdle track on the first circuit, finishing on main track.

It's also heavy at Tramore before their big New Year's Day card. There is fresh ground on both tracks and it's a dry forecast.

There is also action at Fairyhouse to start next year and the going there is currently soft. Light showers are expected today and tomorrow but it is set to be mainly dry thereafter.
