Today's meeting at Limerick has been cancelled as the track is unfit for racing due to waterlogging.

Officials decided to hold an inspection this morning following over an inch of rain in the past few days.

Meanwhile racing goes ahead as planned today at both Leopardstown and Down Royal.

The going at Leopardstown is now heavy following a further 23mm of rain yesterday, and the action commences at 12.15pm..

Conditions are also heavy at Down Royal, where the first of seven races gets underway at 12.25.

The weather forecast remains unsettled, with further showers expected today.

An inspection will be held at 8.00am tomorrow morning to determine whether Sunday's meeting at Limerick can take place.

Wetherby is also off after 40mm of rain left the track flooded.
