Limerick and Punchestown go ahead Racing at Limerick was given the go ahead after an early morning inspection found the track to be raceable. The first of seven races is at 1.45, and the going is heavy. Irish Turf Club press officer Cliff Noone said, 'Racing goes ahead and they had no rain overnight. It's a dry, bright morning down there and while the ground is obviously heavy, all is fine.' There is also a meeting today at Punchestown, with the first of eight races starting at 12.55.
